@Squintle asks
bought a cheap bundle and something feels off. Is there an easy fake test that doesnt involve me destroying a card?
Jeff answers
Please skip the rip test. I'd compare it with a known genuine copy of that exact card: text, spelling, print quality, back design, and the foil or texture that version should have. One odd-looking detail or one phone photo isn't always enough to decide. Keep the seller's listing and ask an experienced shop to inspect it before trading it away or buying more.
