I'd decide what I'm comfortable with before discussing the number. Check the card in our app, then either offer a discount you genuinely want to give or explain that you're keeping this one at your usual price. Friendship doesn't need to be tested by a card sale. If the conversation is getting uncomfortable, keeping the card may be the simplest choice.
