Cash can help bridge a difference if both people are comfortable. I'd agree on condition, check both cards using the same reference in our app, and settle the exact cash amount before exchanging anything. Nobody has to add random cards just to force a match. If the deal starts feeling confusing, slow it down until each person can explain what they're giving and receiving.
